I consider this aspect of being a Maskenbildnerin to be the most artistic and enjoyable. It allows for creative problem-solving in constructing masks that allow the actor/actress to see and speak, unleashing your inner artist through painting, and sometimes exploring new materials and intricate techniques. I particularly cherish the painting process, where I can work with intense focus for hours on end.
